Crowded beaches
Wednesday 2nd Barbara, Caroline and Michaela decided to fly down to Goa. For the rest of us it was an early start. Getting out of Bombay was as manic as getting in, even before dawn. Once beyond the city we made good time on good roads, until we started climbing into the Konkan hills on a hairpinned road - a large truck had got stuck on one of them.
