Time to head north. Since this may very well be the last time I visit Southern Portugal, there's one more province that I need to add to my collection (called districts in Portugal) Beja. It's right between Algarve and Lisbon, so you'd think that I'd be a simple matter of getting a bus and just getting of somewhere along the way. No... There are many buses to Lisbon, but none of them stop anywhere in Beja District. The largest city in this large district is only 34,000 so ...

... several restaurants throughout Portugal. Though it is widely offered on the menu, we were the only people we saw, actually ordering sushi. ... cove beach for a recovering swim and a nap in the sun. We headed to the little bar next door with the hostel crew for bbq dinner and beers. We left with a few take away beers, a quick game of beer pong and we headed down the beach for some late night chats and hit the pillow around 230am. The morning came and it was time for us to say good bye to Lagos and our new friends. Lagos - definitely a favourite so ...

    Feeling a little weary

A travel blog entry by anlnewby on Jun 19, 2015

Last night we had planned a kayaking trip this morning. However when we got to breakfast we were told it was cancelled as the water was too rough. Instead we had a lazy morning and eventually set off on a coastal walk. At first Adam wasn't feeling very well as he felt nauseated and warn down. Later, I started feeling the same way. We walked town to town and then along the cliffs. It was very beautiful but we both thought ...
