Drive from Santiago to the Pacific Ocean and Valparaiso, oldest port in Chile, was again a scene of a pilgrimage. 1000s walking/biking to a small church for a celebration tomorrow. Drove through rich agricultural land.

'The houses are small because ...

... Valparaiso and settled for a coffee and a salad. Both were fantastic, and whilst we were eating one of the girls from Buenos Aires was drawing us and the scenery, and then her friend painted it and gave it to me. Just as we were finishing up some live music started. Two guitarists; one electric, one classic. They played a sort of Spanish folk, it was really good! After leaving there we carried on up a hill, seeing some art galleries and fantastic views on the way, before getting ...
