... Olya. She had fun reading them incorrectly and the kids had fun laughing. In Romania, they give kisses on both side of the cheeks and a hug. I still have no idea which one goes first or how you do it at the same time or is there an order. I have no idea, so when I called out, let’s say, Andrea Popesku, she would come up to the front of the stage and I have a hard time knowing what they do. Basically, I confuse myself and almost kiss all the kids near the lips ...

They have a stereotype that people from California is friends with Arnold Schwarzenegger, blond hair and blue eyes with big boobs. Maybe that's why they were laughing. I don't know. But I had fun. They were very intrigued by me and I was there for my students. Brazil had latin dancing, Japan were wearing kimonos, Turkey had hookah and sand, and the other countries were the same.

... their parents and them as a child when they experienced communism. Each family would get a set amount of money, enough for a flat, food, clothes...etc.etc. One of my roommates said that she once chose her clothes and there was only two colors to pick from, blue or red. They would have to wake up early morning to line up and get their bread for the day.

... I HAD SEEN HIS MISSING TOOTH at 12’0clock in the night!
“No, Sorry. I have not seen your tooth.” I closed the door because he was a bit scary. He kind of looked like the guy from Lord of the Rings. Gollum I believe. The one who has big ears and talks funny. Sorry for the Lord of the Ring fans, I have never watched it yet. I will someday.
That was the end of the night. Romania…oh how I love Romania!

... a common interest in Asian culture. When I taught them how to count in Cantonese, they all thought that the number 5 was really interesting. It was great.
I exchanged pictures between my roommates and it was interesting to see the different perspectives of what is interesting to them when they take pictures. You can see what they see as beautiful or what is interesting to them. It was nice to acknowledge that.
Bye for now. From Romania,

Yes, Dracula is a bug. I didn't meet him personally, but he gave me a bite mark on my face to say hi. I have two bite marks right on my eyelid. I felt like my eyesight on my left eye was slowing fading away because the more I itched my Dracula bites, the bigger it swelled up. Of course, I know not to scratch it, but I couldn't help it.
It was in the evening and my roommates and I were ...
... chuckled a bit when I told them my age because most of them are 15-18. It's mostly girls too. Out of a class of 28 students, there were only 3 guys! The next session had 6 boys but they are mostly girls. I thought I was a little taller than average for some reason. Maybe compared to my family, but they are all really tall. Some of the girls are really interested in knowing me and stayed after class. It was nice. I can't wait to get to know all of them more.

... and I am more comfortable with them.
They were a group of really nice, genuine friends. One of the guys had broken up with his girlfriend about two months ago and the girl was part of the group too. She was really good friends with all of them and the group of friends knew that she was doing bad things that would hurt him, so the girls in the group decided that they can’t let her do that to the guy. He was with her for almost 4 ...
... in a band. I met him at Rostika, a restaurant in the center of the city, and we talked about the trainings and lessons I should prepare for next week's summer school program. He said that he and his friends go to the forest nearby and build a fire and sing songs and enjoy a beer on weekends. He told me a little bit about his band and that they play hard rock and just enjoy music on the guitar. It sounded interesting and he offered me to join him on Saturday and meet his friends. He ...

It was a whole bag full and they were soft cherries and I don't like the soft ones, so now I have a bad of cherries that I won't eat. Maybe I'll smash them and make cherry juice.
Karaoke-ing tonight, so I'll be back for the next update!
