... of it and as a bike ride it is spectacular. So much so that I've canned riding the Transfrgarasan tomorrow as in comparison it will be boring. The DN67C is known as the Transalpine road, and as a road some parts for the most are in very good condition, however some parts just aren't there anymore. For some of it you are on the pegs, not too much though ...

Jochen met me in the departures hall and we made our way thrrough security which was heaving with folk and it not yet six o'clock. A fry helped to kill some time until we headed off to catch out flight which was uneventful enough, depositing us in Bucharest at 11am. Well, 1pm local time.

headed off to a town called Pitesti to overnight, picked a lovely hotel with a great pool...pity it's chucking it down.....

... I have to dig a little deeper to find some redemption. Yesterday the highlight of my day was stopping at a closed restaurant and convincing the proprietor to sell us some cold drinks. While there, we watched a Romanian cook on television using a caulking gun to stuff sausage casings. He then demonstrated how you could creatively twist the links into a heart-shape OR the shape of the breast-cancer awareness symbol. ...

... Japan and I really wanted to know about Romania, so to be an ambassador of a country, they were seperated into groups and talked everything about Romania. From Culture to History to Fooooood. Yummy.
I have my last feedbacks to read tonight from the kids. I taught them how to salsa!

It was sad to have the last training...I will miss them because they were all so willing to learn.
