Am surveying others on how they attempt to stay healthy when traveling in airports and on planes? I have traveled almost every week for over 13 years and have found some ways to cope but am interested in what others have found works for them?
Thanks!
On October 1, 2009 friends of over 50 years will be meeting in New Mexico to celebrate our 70th birthday. The last trip we took together was 20 years ago on our 50th birthday. We went to British Columbia, Canada and had the time of our lives.
It has taken us 20 years to decide to take another birthday trip together. We'll toast the friends we've lost and the ones who could not join us.
Stay tuned as we take this wonderful journey together.

When picking up Benji and Katherine from the airport, we also managed to swap our car for a much sportier and roomier Mazda S6! In the evening we experienced our 3rd sports match in the USA - College American Football. The match was a noisy local derby between Uni of New Mexico (The LOBOS) and New ...

... here. We stopped at the grocery store again to stock up (especially on sunscreen which I ran out of this morning!). The afternoon was spent playing at the house and just relaxing. We enjoyed talking and sharing old memories after the kids went to bed (and with 4 little ones under the age of 6, that was a rare moment!)
... planned. Six of the Eight of us checked bags, and since we were switching air carriers from United to Southwest, we had to go to baggage claim, take a shuttle to the new terminal, recheck our bags, and go through security again. Good times. Thank God for Southwest Airlines. The stewardesses were all in fantastic humor, kind and funny and we loaded, flew, and deplaned in under an ...
Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States ambersky12... other of us seriously considered leaving the other and going home! But all in all it must have been good or we wouldn't have come back for more. This time around we are not so green, a bit more relaxed and probably a bit more patient with each other. There is so much still to see, so many new places to visit, who knows how many 'legs' there will be. One thing we are sure ...
Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States malbet... Then, the boys moved over to the Lego Robotics lab where you program this rover to pick up magnetic sample rocks and launch the scientist safely back to earth before the meteor hits Mars(see pics). So much fun and educational, they did the lab two times! We ended our time there with a NASA Ambassador speaking on "Journey to Jupiter." Tonight the boys played games and on the playground with their three friends from Alaska while I ran to ...
