    Have moved to the coastline we are seeing a very different Turkey a lot more tour groups with huge crowds everywhere. Enjoying the coastal towns Kas is a great little place where I could spent more time. Spending the day on a boat is so relaxing. less than a week left in Turkey then heading to Paris. Have enjoyed seeing different parts of this great country. Can't wait to come back one ...

    ... is 51. They are really fun and are traveling with their adult daughter. The others are all couples from Quebec, England & Australia. It's a fun group and everyone is very nice. We do feel like old ladies in this group of 20-30 year olds! We can buy snacks in Demre, but we have to buy all of our drinks on the boat. The prices aren't too bad, but it would be nice if we could have brought our own. So ...

    ... a little trouble jumping in due to the "freshness" of the water, but our guide was prepared for everything we may encounter. He had anchored the boat for a bit, so he came around to where I was crouched over the water and gave me the much needed push I was waiting for. :)

    We puttered back to the mainland after our swim, refreshed, satisfied, and ready to continue on our coastal journey.

    ... heading back up to the camp. After another amazing dinner we went on an excursion to the Chimaera Flames. These natural flames have been buring on Mount Olympos for centuries with many a story made up as to how and why they are there. One of the oldest stories is from Greek mythology and is that some kind of beast lives under the hill and is trapped, blowing fire to show its displeasure.
