    ... the pirates and beautiful stonewalls with limestone caves etc. Lots of photos here, always a sign that I really like the place. After doing a boat tour around the harbour, I took a little train up to the old town/ bastion. When I came back there was nothing like a rose in the sun!     We have almost a full day in Ajaccio before we head out to Rome (where we catch a plane to Romania). It's a beautiful sunny day and our plan includes a visit to the market (It’s Sunday so the market is on) and a visit to the Napoleon’s House which is an important tourist attraction in Ajaccio.

    Second day in Ajaccio

    Early Morning - We had our breakfast and we went straight to the beach which was across our hotel. How convenient.:)
