... just fine now.<br><br>The journey to where I am not was unplanned, totally spontaneous, and pushing the envelope of what a normal traveler would do. It involved getting a bus door slammed in my face, a woman at a left luggage office holding my bag hostage, one plane and two bus rides all day, one cool stopover and getting lost at night on foot. All this so I can bring you only the finest from Europe. But I made it obviously and will have plenty to tell about.

We make Zadar at sunset. Our hotel of choice is full so we follow a sign for a SOBE around the corner. Hotels in this part of Europe are few and focused mostly on business people. SOBE's are effectively rooms in private homes that fill the gap. Some are like hotel rooms with TV, phone &#8230; others are merely rooms with an awful bed and communal bathroom ...

8h30, nous partons pour une excursion d'une journée dans le Parc National des Iles Kornati. L'accès se fait uniquement par bâteau. Today was another bus ride day, but it was broken up and didn't feel so hot, because we knew we were going to have a swim in the waterfalls at the end of it.
