Travel Blogs from Puerto Natales

Now this is an adventure

We started our day off by getting crepes from the Creperia. Jenny had seen the restaurant the other day and had asked if we could eat there while we were here, so crepes it was!
Jenny lamented she felt a bit sad leaving Puerto Natales, she liked it here. I must admit, it had a nice feel to it but at the same time we were all excited to get to Torres del Paine!

Patagonia is not just a land of great winds

This morning the car rental agency dropped our car off for us at our inn, so we now have wheels! We decided to head out to the Mylodon Cave, a national monument here. The trail had many information kiosks along the way and we learned quite a bit.

At this point I was wondering why I had decided to go hiking on the national park as I was feeling far from fit, but went off to the daily meeting anyway still feeling rather un-enthused about going off on a multi day hike. The most famous hostel ...

Bienvenido a Chile

A travel blog entry by chris.lizzy

Hola chicos! Today we took the bus to P. natales in Chile. It took a lot longer than it should, mainly due to customs - this time the pesky border people confiscated my (lizzy's) walking stick! We went through some barren landscape dotted with sheep and llamas, and views of distant Andes and Torres del Pain mountain ranged (where we will soon be trekking). We had 15 minutes ...
