We woke up this morning in Puerto Natales to a beautiful blue sky and lots of sunshine, mild winds and moderate temperatures (43 degrees). Our day started with a wake up call at 5am for breakfast!!! Yes 5 AM! We were off for our day's adventure by 6:15am.

There were two options for the day, one involved a 4.7 mile hike with some slight elevations gains and one was a walk to a waterfalls. Both included stops to see some views and wildlife.

We stumbled around for some time in the dark as the power appeared to have gone off; no staff had bothered to get up this morning (who knows why!); and finally, when we went to depart the front door was locked and didn't want to open, and when we finally had this open the front gate had a deadbolt on it, forcing us to jump the 7ft fence with all our bags! Today was not a fun morning. I woke up sore as hell from all of the walking I'd been doing. My knees hips and legs were aching like crazy.
