Nun schien immer noch die Sonne, unsere Füße waren endlich aufgetaut und wir wollten doch das schöne Wetter noch etwas genießen. Also sind wir natürlich Eis essen gegangen. First Stop
... by artist Elena Ballarini caught our eye. These are so masterful that they look like photographs! The artist’s father is the owner of the gallery and he spent time with us talking about his daughter and her art. Quite fascinating—check it out: www.wildlifeart.it. He was even kind enough to suggest a place for dinner and called in a reservation for us. What a lovely gesture and so welcoming.

We began to eat and were feeling a bit sad over the lack of turkey slices, but still slightly amused knowing that this would make a great story. Luckily, a few minutes later, the waiters came back out with a gigantic tray of the sliced turkey and the stuffing. I was so happy to get my turkey!
