    ... Louis XV twin brother! When the prisoner died everything he had was burned so it is a mystery as to who it was! Strange stuff! They had some relics from shipwrecks in the area and a couple of models showing how the area collected water and was heated etc. There was also a nice view over the Cannes harbour / marina.

    ... table, roulettes and pokies around the place. I really thought it would be a lot more expensive but it was relativity reasonable. I played the pokies, putting in 5euro wining 8 back then buying a 5 euro chip I thought I did alright but wasn't game enough to waste anymore!     ... an understatement. While we were sitting in a slightly covered small train, at the top point of Cannes, a thunderstorm hit. The train started sliding down the steep descent, cafe awnings were blowing away and lightening was striking all around us. The rain was so heavy we couldn't even see the ship from the marina.     ... portions. We had 2 each, Heidi had Aubergine salad and then Lamb on the plancheta and I had King Prawn in vermicelli with spicy soy dip and Quail with truffle Mash potatoes. We had a glass of Cote de Beaune, Saucilles. Although we fully enjoyed every minute of this fine dining experience we had to cut short and send our apologies to Monsieur Rubichon, the sun had finally done for me!
