Bolzano is incredibly beautiful. It was part of Austria before the war and culturally I'd say its closer to Austria than Italy. The people are more friendly, German is spoken more than Italian and it is way more relaxed than the south. Everyone had a great time at the wedding, weather was brilliant. John was so hungry he even ate a flower, plate decoration and Orla tried to steal the show with her drunken antics.
On our last day in Malcesine we went to the top of a really big hill in a cable car, seen some cows and snow, played some crazy golf at a really late hour and had a few drinks with our friends, the last for a while.

I woke up late, ate and then Coach Wood and I headed toTisma's house.  From there we weredriving to Bergamo to watch the Milano Rhinos and Bergamo Lions battle for thefourth playoff spot.  We would playthe winner.  I wanted to see thegame as well but also to film it the way I preferred the game to be filmed,nice and wide so you can see all 22 players at all times.  Unlike the way they ...

... between Barcelona andManchester United.  I put 20 euroson Man U and my man Christiano Ronaldo (who has been killing of late) at thelocal Match Point sports book.  Theplace was nuts, like a mini vegas sports book.  You could bet just about any sport from MLB baseball totennis.  Man U got beat 2-0 and Ilost 20 euros.  Not exactly how Ihope things were going to end up.

We had the ball again up 7.  Reggie ran and I threw and RE's defense had no answers.  From about 15 yards out, I faked a dive to Reggie and dropped back looking for my two outside receivers both running posts.  I looked right at Piva first, and the safety went with my eyes, so I came back left, trusting that Panzani at forty years old had beat his American corner.  He did and I zipped the ball in just beating the safety who recovered well.  Panzani made the catch ...

The quarterback pulled up, and tried to fit it to my man, throwing across his body toward the middle of the field. I had been anticipating the throw for a couple seconds and the physics of it made it near impossible pass. I sprinted left after it, laid out, and snatched the ball with both hands. I got mobbed, we took a knee, and the game was over.

... I left the train station I saw the bustle of the city and stepped into a whole other side of Trento not visible from the train. On this side was the university, Castello Buonconsiglio, as well as a beautiful old church that really idealizes the Alpine flavor of culture and architecture in this region.
