The stone blocks are mostly big enough to get three quarters of your foot on but luckily there is a rope in place to help climbers keep their balance. Hostel La Candeleria was closed but a man at a cafe recommended Hotel Maria Guadalupe. It was in the LP guide and clean. The 220 for a double price was not so unreasonable and it was only a block away from the bus station.
