... back and admire the views.

Our first stop was in the small town of Castellina in Chianti. It was still rather early so we had the town nearly to ourselves, with many shopkeepers just opening their stores and bantering between each other. We walked up one side of the steep street to the top of the town and then back down the other side. We stopped at an outside cafe for a cup of coffee and watched the sleepy town come to life. Our day was off to a great start.

Last day in florence today :( its been pretty cool here.

Went to the palazzo pitting today, another home/place of the ever present medicine family. After that I headed for Lo Stracotto for dinner, and decided to sit outside tonight as it was cooler. I find that I’ve been ordering more vegetarian meals on this trip for some reason. For example, at lunch I had the Taglietelle al Ragu (beef) but dinner was vegetarian (Spaghetti with tomato sauce and basil along with sauteed vegetables). ...

... it's hard to figure out what I'm looking at -i stumbled upon a piazza with many famous statues ... so hopefully the tour will be helpful. Lots of beggars here - more than I noticed in other cities. This morning an aggressive man was begging on the train. I couldn't help from noticing that he was better dressed than me! My last day in Montefalco was lovely. The owner/chef of the accommodation gave us our last cooking lesson. He was very strict with our knife handling, to the point of ...

... as to say it was really disturbing. We were having a chilled night with the people in our hostel and having a few drinks, and decided to go out to a club (if any of you from Euro Student Home actually read this, you're all great hahaha). We got in, after about two hours of planning to go there, getting dressed and taking a really long walk there, which wasn't actually that long we just seemed to take a million stops, detours or were having to wait for people. We ...
