    ... it was and couldn't quite bring myself to try it... although IM sure my brother would have if he was there! One thing on the grill that was interesting was green onions wrapped in bacon. I make an appetizer with asparagus and a bit of cheese wrapped in proscuitto which would be quite similar. They weren't ready though so we moved on.. to gelato : ) All in all a great day and a nice evening.

    ... to explore a little bit of Sicily. First we went to Trapani to take a boat to Favignana. Favignana, a small island that you can discover by bike, was amazing.     Poor Diana and Geoff arrived after midnight last Monday after their plane developed 'technical problems' on the runway. A new plane had to be found before they could take off from Gatwick. Fortunately the marina was only 2 kilometers away from the airport so they were soon sitting in Isabella's cockpit, relaxing.

    ... and other ancient things in a large park, all poorly maintained, all panels with explanations completely empty,... But nice mosaics in the bathhouse.
    The other thing in the park is the museum, where they have a boat - or small pieces of it at least - of the punic war. Nice, with lots of amphora and other elements they got out of the sea and the archeological field in the area.
