... Eat anything you want, as much as you want, any time you want, live music on three different stages and a variety show in the big theater every evening. The only negative about our cabin being located in the very front, is that you really go up and down a lot when there is turbulence in the sea. The most stable part of the ship is the middle. We have had very calm seas until tonight. There were several announcements made to be careful when ...

... on the cliffs. We were entertained at the hotel by a pasta making demonstration before our lunch. Very entertaining and delicious. We predict that a high carb diet is the way to go and will be studying the benefits on our return to the states. The rest of the day we explored an old church and the towns streets and shops before gathering with our group for complimentary drinks and appetizers provided by the ...

We discovered it on the internet as a motorhome stop over but it is much, much more than that. At the centre of the estate, a large whitewashed farmhouse with flowering camellias in a sheltered courtyard, down below, cellars with brick vaulted ceilings and beyond terraced gardens with herbs, lemons and oranges. In addition, an acclaimed restaurant that serves traditional Puglian recipes. There is a push in southern Italy to get farmers and estates to get into "agriturismo" ...

    Day 7: San Giovanni Rotondo

A travel blog entry by bobbieguerra on Mar 15, 2014

Day 7: San Giovanni Rotondo - Monte Sant’ Angel (*View incorrupt body of Padre Pio)

After celebrating Mass at the tomb of Padre Pio, we tour the
sanctuary, see the old church and the crucifix from which he received
the stigmata in 1918. You will see the confessional where Padre Pio
spent innumerable hours with a ...
