      Twice over Stelvio in one day

      ... coffee shop and got out my map. I now had to make a decision as to what route I was going to take. The main route via Tirano is faster but is on main roads and is rather boring. The other route is all the way back up Stelvio and down the magical East pass which I took photos of earlier this morning.

      By the time I finished my coffee I had made up my mind that it was the route back over Stelvio. Its much harder work than the main roads but also 100% more enjoyable.

      ... driving on the right hand side but I think I did ok! I drove us round most of the day. We went up to San Martino to say goodbye to Nonna Mela.       ... kids ran around in the playground. The playground had 13 swings in it (why I don't know) and last time we were here and Nicolas was 2, he was obsessed with swings so I nearly fainted when I saw this playground and was imagining how to ever make him leave!
