Today's adventure was to catch the train from Florence's main station Firenze down to Pisa, check out the leaning tower and then jump the train back to Firenze, collect our bags from the hotel and then back on the train to Rome, yes we were going to be foot slogging it once again. ... shopping including the mandatory kegs of Heineken Beer …and then we caught the little bus back to Lucca.

Back in Brunella we settled done to another cold lunch of tasty salami, cheese fresh salad and crispy bread and focaccia…all good. G&J took off back to their hotel for a bit of a siesta and we read for a couple of hours. ... googled an Italian-English dictionary to look up some of the terms that come up in the listings over and over, so the mystery is lessened. There are kitchens and kitchenettes, terraces and gardens, etc and we suspect doppi servizi-double duty means studio with living room and bedroom combined not den or storage like in Van.

Now I am finally getting sleepy so I`ll close with one more thought, well a piece of advice really, if you`ll allow me a soapbox: ...
