Being sick put a damper on my time in Lyon and I was not able to explore the city like I wanted. Side note, I really appreciate the women who let me cancel part of my dinner order after seeing how sick I was.

After picking up our car in Arezzo, we arrived at our accommodation in an agriturismo (olive oil farm) and unpacked for our 4 nights. What an amazing location, a rustic and rural setting that also boasted a swimming pool, olive groves and a wonderful view of Cortona which could be enjoyed whilst lounging around the pool! We then did the short drive up to Cortona, found free parking (yes free parking!) and luckily were able to use the outdoor escalators ...
