... and wonder how they put up with that cold. I sleep two nights on a reclinable seat on a boat, and have such bad cramps and an even worse temper. Imagine sleeping in a damp ****-covered hovel every single night? You only get one shot at life, and those poor souls have been sold so short. Irregardless if they 'put themselves into that situation.' Dave always gave to the homeless, and more than that, he would often chat to them too. Life can be so unfair. I can't not blame ...

... me by throwing the salad together, while I made my Sauterne friend potatos. Dinner was ready, for serving at 9:00p.m. In bringing the large pot, with, drunken mushroom sauce, to the table, it took Manuel doing a dancing act, trying to fit the huge, very hot pan on a too small wooden trivet. "Jacques , there are three steaks in the pot. You have one , Manuel has one, and Marina and I share the third. ". I said trying to warn him that the steak (chop) ...

Boy, last night it was so cold, I felt as if it might snow! Each of us had our warmest woollies on, and sweatshirts most of the night. According to Jacques it is always cold in Palinuri.... Maybe the cool winds comes down from the mountains, and meet the sea air, and the result is shivering cold at night. It was so cold, I could not sleep topside. I was even truly cold sleeping in my cabin. Our day began at 7:00a.m., as we took up the anchor, and made our 3-hour run ...
