... native people don't exist in 'white Australia'. Australia's first immigrants were criminals. Actual criminals. They might not have done much of a crime, but they were considered bad (or poor) enough to be shipped off to the other side of the world as punishment. How come now, if every white person on our soil came from somewhere other than Australia, are we so disgustingly racist and scared of people who 'aren't us'? The hypocrisy is too much to bare. The Italians have been ...

Another interesting observation was the fact that as we drove further south towards Naples the ...

... What am I going to do? Maybe cooking this dinner was not such a good idea! OK.... I can do this..." My silent conversation with myself. I quickly began, because these "chops " had to cook in a slow oven for four hours . As I was looking over all my ingredients, and what I had to substitute for what could not be found here... I was even more nervous that this night was going to be a disaster..... Realistically I could only cook one slab of meat at ...

... Siesta time followed lunch.... For it was truly airless and h o t. Below deck we retreated, and as the crew napped, I read and played games. For dinner tonight it was much too hot to cook.... So out to eat we will do. Jacques and Marina said there was a restaurant right on the sea, the other side of the street market location. After our traditional GTs, and entertaining one of Jacques and Marina's friends, we jumped ship, and found a funny little ...
