      ... drive today towards St. Moritz. The mountains in Italy and Switzerland are gorgeous. These mountains look really tall but the highest we have gotten so far is only about 8,000 feet. They are much taller than that but there is just so high one can go with roads when they are so zagged and rocky. We saw several glaciers today.

      ... we went higher and higher on the worlds slowest express train. The steep, slow, winding track affords so many vistas that we were running from side to side of the train, gasping at every turn and bend. Luckily our carriage was nearly empty so we and a few others could do this.

      ... We went to the information center as soon as we reached the town of Zernez. This is where the park begins. We talked about an alpine hike and where we might get a sandwich to take with us. She directed us up the hill so we got a sandwich, chips and a Toblerone candy bar. I've been wanting one ever since we got here and decided by George I was going to enjoy a few bites.
