... As I approach a roundabout the red crossing lights start flashing indicating there is a train coming through. Sure enough here comes a train right through the main square and along the high street. I followed it up the street but due to slow cars I never managed to get ahead of it and take any shots.

A few days ago people were winding me up that I only managed to ride my bike a few miles from Interlaken to Grindlewald which can't be more than 30 miles or so. Well if that was a poor show then what they going to say about today when my bike never even moved off its stand!!!

Sondrio, Tirano and the Bernina Express
... into a few boutique shops saw us leave with a few locally made goods. We hop in the car for the last leg of our Italy drive - the drive to Sondrio is only 70k but takes about 70 mins and apart from the time spent in tunnels the drive is very scenic and Northern Italy quite appealing.
