Unlike Easter Sunday, Easter Monday traffic bites. We had an extremely long day leaving Marseille at 9 and arriving in Pavone at 5. Speed varying from 1kmh to 148kmh (yes Dave, I was watching!) Worth the drive? Most definitely! I feel like Princess Fiona, in the highest room in the tallest tower of a Castle on a hill. I wonder if Shrek will rescue me? It overlooks to most beautiful snow topped mountains. It is heaven. ...

It took us a while to find our accommodation and when we did it was a lot more impressive on the website- it's a farm house, off the beaten track and we are the only people staying there!
