... und es gab Buffet + Drink für 10€. Ruiniert haben wir den Laden nicht, aber schon ordentlich reingehauen. Ich war dann schließlich so früh schlafen, wie seit Monaten nicht mehr: 22Uhr ging das Licht aus.

Wir mussten ja aber auch fit sein für... Einen Spaziergang im Sonnenschein zum Hangar Bicocca. Sagt niemandem was? Bicocca ist das Viertel, in dem Pirelli jahrzehntelang hergestellt hat. Darum wundert es keinen, dass die dort jetzt eine Kunstausstellung ...

... at Osteria dei Poeti. The food was delicious, fresh and good. The hostesses were very attentive and it was evident that they took pride in their food and atmosphere. We recommend it.

Enjoy the photos of Milan and our “entry” into vacation mode. A couple of times (you’ll see in some of the photos), I got a very Parisian hit (only compliments meant both for Paris and Milan).

... with salad and bread. The bread was kind of like a holiday fruitcake but with pumpkin and pecan nutes. It was delicious. I seriously might go back and see if they sell it in the bakery section of their store. The salad was a Blue Stilton Cheese salad with pomegranate, oranges, celery, and walnuts. ... are all on western side of lake. Beautiful sunny day and very calm on the lake. Lots of lovely villas by the lake. Car ferry across lake to Laveno and finally train back to Milan. Hard to believe tomorrow is my last day in Europe... for this trip ...
