... please take note, my lunch break is half an hour. We wandered around the town and then went for a hot drink at a cafe offering free wifi, Les downloaded the mapping for Switzerland on to the laptop whilst I researched camping sites in the mountains, and we looked at the forecast for tomorrow when we cross the mountains - a high of -4 with snow, wow that sounds exciting. Back at Dream Catcher ...

Another cold night followed by sunshine. After breakfast we walked for a few kilometres along the shores of the lake. By 9.30 we were on the road, we stopped at one of the lakeside villages. ... the lunch hour began. The builders came in in hordes. Seated, supplied with bread and wine followed by pasta and then time to get back to work. We moved on and later found a great pizza place. Pizzas are good here (unlike Rome). We then followed Fabio's advice and caught the ferry into Como. We spent the afternoon walking about the main part of the city - lovely old buildings, huge Duomo (surprise!!), partially unfinished waterfront, shops ...

... need to get a move on. I find my way down pretty easily, wander for a short bit and then head for the boat. There are only a half dozen people on, so lots of room to stretch out. The trip out is beautiful, lots of sunshine and great views. We stop at several small villages along the way. At one point I can see what I'm sure is Morcote, and get very excited at the prospect of it. It seems to grow right out of the lake, with a church at the top. I can even see my hotel ...
