We woke early in Zermatt to check out, take in one last look around the beautiful little town and jump about the famous Glacier Express train along UNESCO heritage railways to our final destination of St Moritz. Along the way there was endless picturesque scenery from snow capped mountains to summer green fields and typically Swiss towns all along the route. Off we went past lake Como which was of course lovely. Slowly slowly we made our way into the mountains or as they say la ...
Today is a travel day: picking up our rental car and driving to Tirano on to the border of Italy and Switzerland - so it provides us an opportunity to reflect back on general aspects of the Cruise experience and especially the foodie bits :-)
This was our first cruise with Oceania, and whilst the ship was a little larger than our preference, the great itinerary justified our choice. The upside of having a mid-sized boat (1,200 passengers) is the facilities: great gym ...
