... we went upstairs and sat to wait awhile before walking out to see if anything is open.Finally about 4 we leave and walk up the street but nothing is open and the pizzeria sign looks like that place has been closed for a while. we walk all around town and there are some restaurants that are open but not many. a gelateria is open and I get a black cherry scoop and a pannacotta scoop. we hook around past the dive shop again ...

... and Hubby was quite the bear about it all ~ but we got ready and went to dinner. We were a bit late but two of our tablemates were even later than us. We had another wonderful evening of conversation with Elaina and Martin from Britain ~ we just love them! They are very interesting. On the Sunday morning we stayed around the beach and campsite.
We had a good swim there, then headed off northwards along the coast road passing the environs of Baunei which we were now familiar with.

We had a grand picnic on the scenic mountain road at the midpoint of two tunnels.

Then, on our way we went, returning to Cala Gonone to repeat our sleep in the car there, in exactly the same location.
