... top of the peninsula to a place called Baja Sardinia. Beautiful, just like every other place - but truly the provence of the rich and possibly famous. Roped off sections of beach, sun lounges for hire, the usual signs of exclusiveness!! ... surprising. It doesn't feel like Italy, and it doesn't look like Italy. We are staying in the top North East section of the Island, and spent today exploring the local area. There are marinas a'plenty here - very small, very boutique and interesting. Some have lots of really expensive yachts and others just have smaller rich men's runabouts. ... so I guess the water must have been leaking into the room below. Thankful that we walked to find the ferry the night before as I don't think we would have found it that easily in the morning. Around this 3 level dome tower was a spiral staircase with an outer wall forming a dome over the whole structure. Google it. Just mind boggling. You think of bronze age as a bit dumb - not so. They were also seafarers. Travelling to Greece, Italy and Spain.
