Roberto took us into town and we were able to purchase maps for Croatia, Italy, Greece and Turkey. Yeah.

He also advised that we should have extra locks put on the camper. So we went to his camper store and had this done. Hopefully this will avoid our experience in Barcelona. Once bitten, twice shy!

Although the people of Friuli are fairly introverted, they are proud of the produce from their land - we have discovered that the prosciutto is second to none and the wine is pretty good too (at 4 Euros a bottle). The waterways are chaotic with gondolas and ferries going every which way! As per the car parking there are no rules on the water ways. You just have to dodge other boats or back up! The harbor was beautiful. We watch 3 huge liners leave on a cruise, and watched the sun set sharing a glass of ...

... Over a coffee I checked our my new map purchase that showed 37 Moto tours in the area, you can't go wrong with so many good roads in the region. After chatting with Liz I realised that I still have long way to go to get to the ferry or tunnel and it's already Tuesday...so many great roads and so little time, two months sounds like a long trip but it's gone really quickly and don't think one could explore all these roads even in a lifetime. So heading off with no ...
