... into the GPS......unknown to me there were two streets called Picollomini within the general area. Well as luck would have it, we travelled south of Siena for 45 kilometers before the GPS told us to turn left and proudly announced we had reached our destination! It turned out to be one of the better mistakes we have made on the trip as we ended up in a place called Bagno Vignola which was a hot springs spa on top of a big hill. Drove to Siena but couldn't park the car because the market was on so went to St. Gimignano and wandered around there. St Gimi is a town with lots of towers and good ice cream. Back to Siena through Castello D'Elsa and did the Cathedral (Duomo) and walked around the city. They have an annual horse race through the city around the Campo.
