Epilogue: Connor was just watching tv and there on the screen, coming to us live from Milan, is a huge open air rock concert. Right in front of the Duomo. We were completely lost and walking in circles for 3 hours. We ended up at a subpar Italian restaurant, but were happy to be able to sit down. Desperate to actually ...

... have to say that the people weren't totally geared towards tourists like I would have expected - the man wasn't tolerant of me, and in the station there were no signs for trains, and no translations. The other issue I had with Como was that it smelled a little bad - whether it was fishy, drains or generally sweaty people smell, it wasn't very pleasant! But I definitely enjoyed my day and I think any smells were worth enduring to see the views from the Lighthouse in Brunate! :)
