... takes us over the road to place to educate us in the Italian way of ordering a drink at dinner time and getting a feed off the bar from the beautiful finger food they have kindly put out for you while you eat. ... views over Lake Como.

The Belvedere Hotel in Bellagio is a lovely hotel with views over the lake. We arrived in Bellagio just after 1900 and checked into an apartment here for the next 3 days. From the hotel, it is a 5 minute stroll to the town centre. We were starving by now and dined at the Hotel Metropole's restaurant by the lakeside - a beautiful, relaxing setting to end our hectic day!
