... Milan in the 19th century. It is now home to a series of museums and art collections. We passed through the central courtyard to and wandered through the extensive Parco Sempione, stopping to get up close to some local wildlife. Afterwards we headed back into the retail district for a spot of shopping before mixing it with the rush hour traffic on the trip back past Lago di Como to Morbegno.

... and lush with vines, fig, chesnut and oleander trees, and colorful sweet smelling flowers bursting at every turn. The lake itself looks almost painted into place. With all it's glory and splendor stretching out perfectly amongst the mountains. The lake is around 50kms long and an average of 4kms wide with a maximum depth of 400 meters.
