... in Europe felt the same way, as there were probably more than at IOM TT. We found a glacier by taking a wrong turn, but not as spectacular as the ones in NZ. The most beautiful bells chimed out in unison all around us on Sunday morning at our hotel - perfect. We had lunch in a gorgeous little village called Heiligenblut, that overlooked a beautiful valley.
We will have very special memories of this area forever ...

Apart from all the walking we will be doing in Venice, today was the last walk of the trip and we originally thought that there would be several options from 4km to 14km. Ron and Jan stayed with the vans and ten of us started off at Rifugio Auronzo and began the walk to Rifugio Lavaredo, passing the St. Mary the Virgin of the Peak Chapel at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
