... just starting to rain when we arrived in Trento, and we feel that our good weather days may be well and truly over now. The hotel was very convienantly around the corner from the train station. We had very limited options for accommodation here, it seems that its not a tourist destination at all. Must be outshone by Florence, Verona and Venice. We found the start of our walk up Mount Brione at Fort San Nicolo, left over from the 19th century. Its just a pile of stairs and dead ends and holes.
