... Tim loved the diving boards. We've had many delicious meals thanks to Holly. The other night we went for pizza and Tim ordered what he thought was salami, but turned out to be a salmon pizza ;0) A few more things are the caves that we toured around Porlezza, and then zip line experience yesterday! Quite a rush! Today we are off to a mini vacation to Cinque Terre, Lucca, and Florence. Oh yes- we also took a ferry from Mennagio to Bellagio! ...

... happens everywhere. In airport, on trains, as you sit in cafes - we are finding so much enjoyment in people watching and connectedness to our surroundings. The meal at this place turned out to be so good - simple ingredients with so much flavor and the price for dinner was at least 1/2 the cost that it was at other places. We ordered three different dishes in addition to salads and loved each one. And the dessert tasted like they had an Italian Nonna in ...

... morning's gossip session is an understatement!

So with the walk of shame over for the day (its ok, we’re starting to get used to these walks now) we had a lovely breakfast on our terrace and then set off for Lake Orta which is the smallest of the lakes and the furthest West.

To get there we took a car ferry from Laveno Mombello to Verbania then a 30 minute drive to ...
