... couple of kilometres from here). Exhausted we make our way back down, gelato to power up, ferry back to home and cook up dinner.
Today we are back on the ferry to Como, walk along the foreshore to check out some large villas on the west side - now all owned by the Como Provincial Government, then onto the 'fast boat' and up to Menaggio which is midway north up the lake. The lake is 46km from one end to the other, so I guess we travel 20 ...

Leaving Milano, we started the day with Bergamo which is an ancient town about 40 km east of Milan we've been hearing a lot about. I have to admit that it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. Maybe it's just me setting my expectation too high.

We saw that this road would take us there and it looked short and straight. However, the ...

... right next to Duomo, I'd recommend the ground floor for buying various designer products. We ended up in Excelsior as well which is also a department store only for street style lovers I guess. It was a bit too much kenzo for us so we left using the glass lift.   I'd definitely love to come back to Milan to spend some more time exploring the city because I know there is a lot left to do there. PS: Spontini take away pizza was ...

      ... Fromaggio = Heaven.
All too soon, Luca had to leave us for his work, and considering I had blisters the size of a pizza on my heels, we decided to trek back to the hotel on our own. Shocker, we got lost. Twice. Once from getting off at Villa San Giovanni (we're supposed to get off at SESTRO San Giovanni), and the other from these damn Italian roads. I swear, between the crazy drivers and the roundabouts, Italy is by far the easiest place to get ...
