... Yesterday, we finally saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person and climbed up to the top to enjoy the views. The tower is really beautiful. It is clean and white/grayish and in very good condition. The history behind the lean and what has been done to keep it from falling was interesting to learn about.

We checked into our hostel and the owner was really nice, it was like a house turned into a hostel. It had a lot of weird signs though especially for the toilet and how to use it properly. ... to get a ticket to go in. We went back with our new ticket to the baptistery. We climbed up to the middle, and looked around, and I read the boys the guide book stuff about the baptistery and the tower. We still had a little time, so we went to the bottom and rest a few minutes. Then the security guard came out and started... I had thought tickets to the tower were part of the tour but apparently we were supposed to pre book, so I didn't get to climb it.
