... new battery all fitted and then stopped up the road for ice cream and then on to Pisa.We drove on a motor way so didn't pass through any nice villages but we could see plenty on the hills.
Pisa isn't very big so it was easy to find our camp, called Camping Village Torre Pendente. It was very busy and fairly packed but we managed to squeeze into a little spot. The cost for a night for 2 adults, a tent and car plus ...
... the host had an identical twin brother and the dining experience ended up a bit like Faulty towers with lots of fun banter. Our menu tonight was tortellini with ham and cream, eggplant parmigiana, and hand made crusty warm fresh bread. He also serves home made pickled vegetables with the most amazing creamy delicate baby onions that have no sharpness.
Another day of great adventure and experience! Oh and food.....
