Still down, down, down we went, though we knew we must be getting closer because we began to run into hikers who were clearly just out for a fitness hike (maybe this is like the Italian Manitou Incline). At about 1:30 (we made great time!!), we hiked in to town, finished with our final day of hiking with 13 more kilometers* under our belts! We felt hot and sweaty and VERY happy.
