... couple of kilometres from here). Exhausted we make our way back down, gelato to power up, ferry back to home and cook up dinner.
Today we are back on the ferry to Como, walk along the foreshore to check out some large villas on the west side - now all owned by the Como Provincial Government, then onto the 'fast boat' and up to Menaggio which is midway north up the lake. They just kept saying 'oh! pizza ohno' and making spinning pizza gestures (I think it means pizza chef). There is also an Australian staying in the town as a au-pair and she came too and tried to translate a bit. The family mostly cant speak any English other than the daughter who ...

... luck in the small villages along the Fiume Adda. But after about 10 Km I saw a small garage that looked open so I stopped.
The guy didn't speak english but we managed with hand signals pointing and showing him that I wanted 10W40. I needed a new speedo cable as well, but he didn't have any for an old Japanese bike. Fair enough, I know roughly how fast I am going.
