Left Lucca and headed to Parma for an overnight stay. It was a day of driving interspersed with three stops. First to Modena to become educated on how Balsamic vinegar is made and to taste test 6 different ones, including saffron and mint. Interesting and an expensive spot to shop! Following the game, a tour of Parma showed us another beautiful northern Italy city with an Old Town City Centre. Dinner was arranged by David our driver at a traditional pizzeria – David has been driving for 20 years and has all the connections we need, especially in Italy.
