Lots to catch up on! Hope you're all well and enjoying NZ summer! Also to all my family and friends overseas- that you're having a wonderful time whatever the season may be. Walking to dinner came across the most unlikely shop!! ...

The railway is full of spiral viaducts and twisty tunnels etc. The road of course is even more twisty and near the summit is a concrete layer hung onto the edge of a massive cliff. As the road climbs ever higher snow and ice start to appear at the edge of the road and so ...

A solo effort today by Bec.
The dreaded travel day has arrived again. Picked up promptly and delivered safely to the train station, we embarked on a rail journey that took us around the other arm of Lake Como. The scenery was again wonderful but we think not as pretty as we have seen, although at times we had to stand to see it as one side of the train had graffiti that even covered the windows.!
Our carriage's lights ...
