I went across Milan today and organised to pick up my bike tomorrow, looks like a fine machine and I am excited about the trip, though the guy at the shop said they were expecting rain in the mountains...bugger but u do wot u gotta do. At 10.00am this morning we travelled by train to Milan which took 1 hour 10 minutes. The train station was large but quite ancient and lovely. We then caught a taxi to the Hotel Sanpi. Decided to look around so caught the metro underground railway to central Milan and came across this most beautiful Cathedral called Milano Duomo. Magnificent. ... I was wearing shorts… whoops. I settled for a few pictures of the outside and a walk around the Piazza. Now that I had seen the Duomo, I didn’t really have anything else I wanted to see.
