      ... played songs on an accordion all night while the locals sang along to the songs. We then went to Peter's Brauhaus which was filled with people dressed for the carnival. The beer there was amazing. After Peter's we went to the local kebab shop and had a yufkta and the guy actually baked the bread on the spot for us.       ... had a small car on the back, they seemed to be carrying anything from coal to oil, the flow of the river was quite fast and the large boats hardly seemed to be moving in comparison to the boats traveling down stream.

      ... teachers to order lunch in German but only one group per cafe / restaurant. This meant that our group had to walk 1 and a half miles to find a cafe to order the food from of which we did with ease.

      Throughout the day we were all encouraged to eat some of the German food on sale such as crepes, waffles and more bratwursts, and may I add that German food is some of the best food I've had abroad before!
