Brought brekky this morning at the Cologne railway station because we discovered they have lovely yogurt and muesli. Then we went shopping. I bought a pair of German shoes, made in Hamburg, for $52! Rosanne bought a very comfortable pair of new season shoes for a little more. While we were in the hotel lounge this morning we overheard a group of Brits on a coach tour being corralled into where they needed to go by their super efficient tour guide and made a ...

Found unbelievable bargain at a 5* Hotel. & couldn't resist. To put it into context the breakfast cost 50% of the room rate! We didn't have breakfast! Even better, parking was also extra but as GG was too tall for their underground car park, we had to park with the smart cars in front of the Hotel at no charge. Hilarious!

... own exploration. Joy and I visited the Cathedral then walked across the river to get some good pics of the cathedral. The pedestrian crossings are adjacent to the rail crossing and our boat is moored a few meters from the steps op to the pedestrian part of the bridge. We discovered a Tower building on the other side, offering panoramic views for €3 per person. We ...

... eat again! So .... Off to lunch of three courses and John even had cinnamon ice-cream. Next up to the sun deck to soak up sun (under the shelter) and sip champagne and blue curacao drinks. When it got too hot we retired back to the air conditioned lounge. Then it was time to freshen up for a briefing from our tour director, dinner (yes, more to eat!), night entertainment in the lounge and off to bed. My, my what a busy ...
