... and has been raining most of the day. However it stopped briefly this afternoon, a chance for us to try some geocaching. We found one at the statue of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (a resident of Crowborough) – Elementary, My Dear Watson.

We’re leaving England tomorrow, heading for Spain.
Sorry, no pictures this time. I haven't quite remembered that process Need to get the instruction book out.

... large. The lounge was a place where you could sit and read, do a puzzle, play a game or knit. Our hosts even lit a fire for us in the evening to add to the character of the house.

The next day we headed through the Dartmoor Forest. These have the moors going over the hills and are very sparse. Once again the scenery is wonderful and I don't know what we will do back in Hamilton. Ah well we will enjoy it while we ...

  • Sorry about the late post but last night we couldn't get any internet or 3g. Not always a bad thing being off the grid. Anyway we left Porthcawl Thursday morning and headed north along the coast. Past Port Talbot and Swansea and out onto the Gower Peninsula. Jayne had researched a place called Oxwich Bay, which looked very picturesque and that was our destination for the day.
