Well we woke to Hurricane Bertha (or what the UK weather people described as the "remains" of Hurricane Bertha...seemed pretty alive to us!) but fortunately at 3am and 5am. Hi everyone, I arrived back in the UK yesterday after a very long journey about 26 hours total - fortunately I didn't feel too bad after it, just a little tired! ... before climbing out of the valley up Lype Hill, the highest point in the Brendon Hills. The views from here were stunning, including seeing the sea due north of us. Excluding our walk by the Severn Estuary, this was our first sighting of the sea since looking out over Edinburgh. As Robert said, that day seems a world away, a completely different trip.
