It was sitting on the ground, not moving, and I stared at it a while trying to figure out whether or not it was real. I kept walking closer until finally I saw its eyes move, but I could not believe how enormous this thing was. I've posted my picture of it to the blog, but apparently the pelicans on ...

The beach towns are totally deserted. All the hotels and cafés are shut up and no-one is around.

... is a maze but whereas Venice streets have names, Mykonos doesn't. The streets are really narrow, and although no cars can fit down them, they use little trucks and scooters to transport goods. Whenever a vehicle needs to go past, everyone has to squash into the doorways or hop up on the steps. If the truck needs to go around a corner, it has to do a multiple manouvres. All of the buildings are painted white ...

... beach is where we ended up. We grabbed a sun bed each and just cooked, and talked. Super Paradise Beach was also a great beach I’d checked out a few days earlier with the gang. There’s also another Jackie O’s club there, but more an outdoor beach styled club, with a pool, and banging dance tracks. Really cool! The lower beach area of Jackie O’s was a designated gay area I believe, and to my amazement, there were several penis’ staring right at ...
