          We had an easy trip from Patras to Brindisi, sailing time 17 hours. We chose not to take a cabin, an just as well we didn't. Most of the ship was full of trucks and drivers and the cabins were shared cabins!
          The rest of the public areas were quiet and we were able to find flat couches each in a alcove. We took food on board, just as well as the stuff in the café ...

          Today we're off to Brindisi and decide to travel via Lecce which we have learned is another fabulous old town......and it is!

          ... come across a lot of spent shotgun cartridges, so wondered if they get killed, or whether they are sitting there with their beaks shut so they won't be noticed! We came back for a late lunch and then this evening went into Alberobello for the festivities accompanying their saints' day. It's huge.
