    We enjoy our hotel breakfast in the cool air conditioned comfort of the the hotel. Most of us had a disturbed nights sleep due to the air conditioning cutting in and out all night.     Leaving Alberbello we make our way to the Grotte Di Castellana which is only a half hour drive from Alberbello. Arriving we stop for lunch at a local restaurant. The temperature is hot and we are all looking for some relief from the heat.     ... was quite limited and so of cause is our Italian. We managed however to get some great local dishes that we had not tried before, without trading Selma for the Cheese platter. "Vorremmo scabbier quest piccolo rages per la schema di formaggio".

    The language has caused us quite a lot of amusement. Stewart and I came across one particular sign on the way back to our apartment that forced us to stop to take a photograph.

    The trip to Brindisi was over 6 hours long. The train travelled quite close to the Adriatic coastline. The sea is very calm here. There are long stretches of sandy beach.
