We traveled by train and bus (train tracks were being repaired) following the shoreline of Lake Lucerne, passing Pilatus Mountain and Lake Sarnen, to the little village of Giswil. ... fun streets is right out in front of us. We'll see how sleep goes tonight! And for this, we paid less than $175 a night! A steal in this town!!! We'll bring pics home of the room. We're having fun with it!

We took a long walk around the city this evening and had a great fish & chips dinner and salad at our hotel, sitting out front by the water, just people watching. It was a great day from start to finish!

... going to be. Amazing sculpture! We're joining a couple from Pennsylvania for dinner tonight. He made the reservations and I scouted the location and found it so I'll be the navigator tonight. ... for a few more drinks and a dinner at a local restaurant with some translation issues. The whole menu was in Swiss (with no English variation at all. I ended up ordering something that I through would be a steak after asking the waitress. All she really said was it was from a cow. Ended up being liver. I nearly threw up. Expecting it to be steak, I took a bite and instantly knew it was not. It was a bit rubbery and spongy and the worst texture that I can't even explain. ...
