Lucerne is having a big festival tonight and tomorrow night...they call it the greatest disco in the world with 13 stages and the road from the hotel to Lucerne is closed tonight and tomorrow night. ... high. We went back to our hotel to meet our local guide. We had an hour and a half tour. We learned about the Swiss, their history and economy. We walked to the old town and saw beautiful frescoes on buildings. Lucerne has its own Mardi Gras and there is an area with frescoes related to the celebration and a fountain too.
