... fully trusting the other to stick to the limit. :) Fortunately the shopping bug was good to us and we didn't buy much. Pete was able to get his automatic Swatch watch which is only available in Switzerland, and I bought souvenirs for the folks back home. We ate at Café Emilio's in a beautiful square amidst all the hub-bub of the shopping district. Pete had a scrumptious veal sausage and I a ham and cheese sandwich. Mmmmm.... Now for some ...

The morning of the 2nd saw us up reasonably early for breakfast and a VERY long driving day ahead.

Not much happened other than regular updates on the lost group member and watching a beautiful countryside pass us by!

... for the evening and it was tiny! I can see why Ikea is popular over here. But it was clean and oddly very modern. After dinner, we took a river boat ride to see the city and it was a really good way to see the sights. ... arrived to an overcast Zurich afternoon with the temperature around 8oC. Easily walked the 400 metres to our hotel with bags in tow, and checked in.
