Breakfast was taken on the terrace. Very pleasant if not that sunny. We set off at about 9.30 aiming for Marbella for a stroll round the town and a coffee. However, as we arrived it started to rain and we just made it into an underground car park. ... mortified I just carried on washing my hair like it was the normal thing to do in salty, sea water. And later that evening we stopped at a large campsite at Bahia Santa Polo which looked as though it needed a complete makeover, with tatty shower blocks and tennis courts and a rusty merry go round covered in cobwebs. ... the Ronda bullfighting ring, an important venue in the world of bullfighting.
After lunch, a winetasting at the Museo del Vino Ronda and a siesta (it's expected!) we were treated to a flamenco dance show, arranged just for our group, at a nearby dance studio. Three musicians (singer, guitarist and percussionist) and three dancers entertained us beautifully for 90 minutes.
