We arrived at Brisbane at 08:40 local time. All the time changes have confused the hell out of Pat, who has refused to change her watch from UK time. What a complete contrast at Brisbane Airport, it seemed chaotic and disorganised. We left the plane and headed straight for the departures lounge. One queue for all passengers to have bags x-rayed. We next went to the Purling Brook area and wandered the 100m down to the lookout to admire the view. By this point we were walked and rainforested out and rather than do another walk, we figured we'd go back and pack up our tent, eat some lunch, and make our way to Brisbane, where we had arranged to stay with some friends for the weekend.
