I am leaving for Scotland in less than a week and am... not packed yet. After departing, I will travel for 3 whole days (hooray for layovers), and will finally arrive on Monday. I am trying to make the most of my time here and have been meeting up with old friends who I dearly missed. Anyways, just some random thoughts before I go:
1. I will miss everyone I care about soo much!

... she really didn't want to make the journey & they had taken the back seats out of the van so they could sleep in it over the weekend. I was keen to make the journey as I hadn't travelled across that stretch of road. Eddie didn't know what time he would be leaving but would not be in a rush as he wanted to have a sleep in after the last few days.
We all went off to our respective beds around midnight, though naturally I didn't go to sleep that early.
Yesterday we took a plane ride over the mountains around Anchorage. Just amazing what you can see from the air. The plane was a 1978 Cessna 4 seater! Trip was about 1 hour. Saw lots of glaciers. And snow that you can't see from the ground. Trip was good till we tried to land. ...
... If there would of been a place we could of pulled over, could of gotten lots more. Truck driver was fine. the pineapples are great. Priced them in Walmart this morning, $3.99 a piece. We are staying at friends here in Eagle River, Have to RV in to repair shop. Dinette slide is not working right. Tore the rubber roof when we tried to put is slide.
Today Sherri fixed us breakfast and this afternoon we are going to see Mary Poppins ...
... a little ways out, we saw different mountain ranges that were freshly snow-capped. They looked like the peaks were dipped in powdered sugar! In the air around the mountains, there was a lot of turbulence. We also saw some glaciers, and went to see Mt. McKinley but it was too cloudy. We went back lower to see the mountains that were just gorgeous! The scenery was just like a postcard! On the way back to the airport we saw three sheep on the mountain, but they looked like ...
