Sorry I haven't posted sooner - the wifi is spotty here in Wisconsin Dells (or more at our hotel), so I am posting from my mom's computer instead.

Yesterday, we left Minneapolis at around 11am and, with a short stop for lunch, made it to Wisconsin Dells for 3:15pm. We checked into our hotel at the Wilderness Hotel and it was safe to say we were quite overwhelmed by the size and scope of Wilderness! The Resort can hold up to 10,000 people and has at least 5 water parks ...

After lunch we perused the meat case and picked out some meats to add to our picnic cooler. They had a great array of cheeses as well but we had enough of those so didn't buy cheese there.

We got back on 90 West and after about a half hour a very interesting group of rocks were seen on the right side of the highway. There was an ...

It was a big place very near to Great Wolf Lodge and as you walked in it looked like a huge lodge. Our drinks were brought to us by a large electric train. Those servers must love their job! Dad wants to run the train if we ever open a restaurant. Toward the end of our meal (which was quite delicious) the train ran around ...

... to be had. I bought a jacket down
from $158 to $39.98 and two tops, one from $90 to $10 and one from
$70 to $15. Was worth going in to save $243. I have hardly spent
anything on myself so it felt like a nice treat to get some new
    clothes that weren't from Walmart.

Speaking of which, stopped at Delafield
for the night, Walmart again. Thank you for a flat place to park
    again Walmart.

... park in the middle of town. I found a "little red school house" also in the park. Just can't get away from schools!

The campground we are in is huge. It has 700 campsites, 6 or 8 swimming pools, a lake for swimming and all kinds of stuff for families. We figured that people in states with no mountains or oceans have limited places to vacation so there are areas like this to fill that need. Along the interstate there were several indoor water parks and places ...
