... is a beautiful place, so different from home. The next day was relaxing as it was a full day at sea and following that we landed in a Greek port of Katakolon – it was very hot and we took the bus to Olympia which was the birthplace of the Olympic Games. It was interesting to hear about how the games first started (no women were allowed to attend as the men competed nude!!) and to see for instance the running track and the original ...

... a minimum of $55 US dollars for 100 minutes!!!) After lunch we went for a walk along the harbour. I stopped to take a photo of the harbour and a half-naked Greek man sitting on his boat flipped me the bird! There were cute little shops along the main street. Back on the ship Alex and I sat by the pool ...

Today we were supposed to go visit the Navagio beach. A few minutes after we left port, ship turned around and went back for a round of latecomers. The day was perfectly sunny before we turned around, and when we set our course again, the clouds covered the sun, and the sea went rough. Our ship was rocking. When we came to Navagio, 200 m from the beach, ship stopped and the captain informed us that we can't make port for our own safety. Everyone complained, but ...

... of the main streets in Zante, their pedestrian zone, and later to the square where was located the St Dennis church and the tower that is a replica of the tower on St Marco's square in Venice. On the way back to the bus we took a walk through the port seeing some fascinating sailing boats. It was a beautiful day. When we got back to Laganas, we decided to skip a party in club Plus and enjoy time in our favorite gyros place ...
